  1. Addendum/Correction to file SUPRAFIX.TXT

  3. RE:  "Fax Communications Error - 102"  fax problems with 
  4.       Supra V.32bis Fax/Modems
  5.

  7. If the fixes outlined in file SUPRAFIX.TXT did not correct your fax
  8. problems ("Fax Communications Error - 102"), Terri Isom of Supra
  9. Technical Support offers the following:
  10.  
  11.        ***********************************************************
  12. WINFAX USERS
  13. ------------
  14.           The earlier file SUPRAFIX.TXT mention some lines to 
  15.           add to the [386Enh] section of your WIN.INI file.
  16.  
  17.             NOTE:  These changes should be made to your
  18.                    SYSTEM.INI file,  *not*  WIN.INI.  If you
  19.                    have a 386SX or better, your SYSTEM.INI file
  20.                    should already contain a [386Enh] section.
  21.

  24. ALL USERS
  25. ---------
  26.         Use the following initialization string in your
  27.         fax software:
  28.                         AT&F&C1&D2
  29.  
  30. If this doesn't help:
  31.  
  32.         Reinstall WinFax with the modem turned OFF.
  33.         This should allow you to configure your fax 
  34.         software for Class 1 operation during the install.
  35.  
  36.         *****   Supra is aware of compaitbility problems with
  37.                 certain Class 2 fax operations in the Rev. H
  38.                 ROM firmware.  They are working on this problem.
  39.  
  40.                 (If you are experiencing any problems I would
  41.                  suggest contacting Supra Tech Support and 
  42.                  informing them in an effort to expedite a
  43.                  correction for this problem.  They seem to be
  44.                  responsive to faxes which can be done quickly
  45.                  at times of low rates.)

  47.         If the software supplied with your modem does NOT allow
  48.         you to configure for Class 1 operation while reinstalling
  49.         with the modem turned off, contact Supra Tech Support.
